Tamarind-Lime Beef Skewers

Tender, marinated beef skewers grilled for a smoky finish, served with a bright tamarind-lime dipping sauce.

INGREDIENTS

 Soy sauce  1 Tbsp
 Oyster sauce  1 Tbsp
Steak Seasoning 2 Tbsp
Coconut Sugar 2 Tbsp
Beef 200g
Tamarind paste 15g
 Fish Sauce 1 Tbsp
Lime 1 piece
Minced shallots 2 Tbsp
Minced coriander 2 Tbsp

Marinate the Beef

In a large bowl, mix 1 Tbsp soy sauce, 1 Tbsp oyster sauce, 1 tsp steak seasoning, and 1 tsp coconut sugar until the sugar dissolves.
Add the beef, thinly sliced, and toss to coat well.
Cover and marinate for 1 hour in the refrigerator.

Make the Sauce

In a small bowl, whisk 15 g tamarind paste, 1 Tbsp fish sauce, and 1 Tbsp coconut sugar until smooth.
Stir in the juice of 1 lime, 1 tsp steak seasoning, minced shallots, and minced coriander leaves. Mix well and set aside.

Assemble & Grill

Thread the marinated beef onto skewers (soaked if wooden).
Grill over medium-high heat, turning once, until nicely browned and just cooked through. To Serve.
